For this weekend, on the occasion of the second "Harold and Kumar" movie, I interviewed Neil Patrick Harris. I love it because we didn't really talk about anything, and also, he totally needs to be my gay homosexual lover. Is that creepy? I don't care. It's true. Anyway, here's my favorite part that didn't make it into print.

How do you find the internet in general?
I peruse the internet with great frequency. It has a lot of up to date information. I think the internet short, the internet movie, is turning a corner. They are seeing they can make it more clever than just 5 or 6 friends with a camera putting it on YouTube. Maybe the strike was responsible for that. I'm a huge Joss [Whedon] fan! And have been dying, literally dying to work with him. I said literally dying which is not true. I'm not literally dying to do anything.

What if you died on this phone call? That would be awful. Would you write about it? Or would you feel that was breaking this sacred thing? Would you just sell out and write a whole story about it? Or would you just throw it in to the end of the interview?

I'd call People magazine and ask for five dollars?
That's what I'm worth?

No. I'd be deeply upset. What's your weekend look like?
My weekend looks very free. I've been fortunately crazy busy since "How I Met Your Mother" got up in full swing again, I've been every-daying it. I was in Austin for the film festival for "Harold & Kumar." I filmed an episode of a game show called "Regis Philbin's Million Dollar Password." Based on "Password" from days of yore! My weekend is gonna be lots of lounging about. I might take in a film!
